Why I Advocate For Gender Equality – Tems

Tems, a popular singer from Nigeria, had a really interesting moment at the Global Citizen Festival in Ghana when she discussed why she consistently advocates for gender equality. The hosts questioned Tems about why she consistently advocates for gender equality in her songs and podcast while the audience applauded. In response, the singer stated that she supports gender equality because not enough opportunities are provided for women. She continued by saying that if she could provide more chances and possibilities for women, she would. Tems said, “We don’t get enough chances. Women need more chances, women need more opportunities in this world. And if I can give it, why not. “I feel if you love someone you show them off. And I want to show off every woman in this world because they deserve it” Click to see more posts about

#Coronavirus: Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari Reportedly Sighted At London Hospital (Read Full Details)

There are several reports confirming that the Chief-of-Staff to the President, Abba Kyari has been since been admitted at Wellington Hospital in London.

According to RootstvNigeria, Wellington Hospital is the largest independent hospital in the United Kingdom, and part of HCA International hospital group.
While RootstvNigeria has not independently verified, a highly placed source disclosed that the “President’s Chief-of-Staff is receiving medical attention at Wellington Hospital but his medical condition is deteriorating haven tested positive to COVID-19.” the source said.
Although the Presidency has not disclosed the status of Kyari who was widely reported to have tested positive to Coronavirus, it was gathered that he was initially moved to Lagos for treatment before it was decided that he should be flown to London.
It would be recalled that a voice note had gone viral on the 26th of March 20202 where it was alleged that the President and his Chief of Staff where flown out of the country at midnight.
The Presidency, however, debunked this saying it was the handiwork of mischief-makers.
